To have a glowing healthy skin you need to look after it. One of the most important aspects is not only eating a healthy diet and drinking plenty of water, but also having a regular cleansing routine and using the best skin care products. First thing in the morning and last thing before going to bed at night you should cleanse your skin thoroughly to remove any trace of makeup, grime and dirt.
Fresh makeup should never be applied over stale makeup. The best makeup will not be shown at its best advantage on a dirty skin. By keeping your skin scrupulously clean it will have a youthful glow. Skin is divided into 5 types – dry, oily, combination, sensitive and normal. First ascertain which type of skin you have and then you will be able to care for it properly.
Dry Skin
This skin type should be cleansed with a creamy cleanser that has been formulated for this type of skin. Gently remove with damp cotton wool and then apply a rich moisturizer to hydrate the skin or the best anti wrinkle cream
Oily Skin
Cleanse with a gentle foam cleanser to remove excess oiliness, then remove with damp cotton wool and wipe face gently with an astringent. Apply a thin film of a light moisturizer and gently pat off excess or apply the best antiaging cream
Combination Skin
This type of skin is the most difficult to cleanse. Define which area of your face is oily and which is dry to normal. Treat the oily section as you would an oily skin and the rest as normal. This is a bit of extra effort but the oily area of your skin will eventually be less noticeable and become like the rest of your face. The moisturizer can be applied on the whole face, using less in the oily area or apply a small application of the best firming face cream
Sensitive Skin
A sensitive skin needs a bit of extra attention to prevent redness and burning. Use only a cleanser that is made for this skin type. Gently remove the cleanser with damp cotton wool and then apply a moisturizer. Products containing Chamomile are very good for sensitive skins as they have a calming effect on the skin. Beware of products containing fragrances. Apply the best night cream before you go to bed.
Normal Skin
Choose cleansing products for a normal skin and cleanse, tone and moisturize twice a day for a glowing healthy skin. Apply best firming creams twice a day.
